3. Insertion And In-Line Flow Meters:
The insert-type battery operated electromagnetic flow meter has an accuracy of 1% and is suitable for pipe diameters as small as DN50 (2"). Compared with the pipe-type flow meter, it does not require pipe cutting during installation. Only a round hole is made at the top of the pipe, and a threaded ball valve or a flanged ball valve is welded to the pipe. For larger pipe diameters, such as DN200 and above, the purchase cost of the insert-type electromagnetic flow meter is lower than that of the pipe-type flow meter. The larger the pipe diameter, the greater the difference in purchase cost. The transportation cost is also lower.
4. Packaging:
The goods are shipped in plywood crates lined with expanded foam. The flow meter is also placed in a waterproof plastic bag. This protects the goods from moisture and impact during transport. Furthermore, it does not significantly increase the weight of the goods during transit.
