Sewage flow meter:

The selection of sewage flowmeter is very important. First of all, it is necessary to find out the characteristics of sewage, whether the sewage contains corrosive media, and whether the sewage contains impurities. These are the more important selection conditions.

The advantages of choosing electromagnetic flowmeter for sewage measurement:

Since the domestic industrial application of electromagnetic flowmeter in the late 1950s, it has been used and developed rapidly in flow measurement in the 1970s and 1980s. The working principle of electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, that is, the measured medium flows perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field lines, so an induced electromotive force EX is generated in the direction perpendicular to both the medium flow and the magnetic field lines. ), the electromagnetic flowmeter is not affected by external factors such as temperature, pressure, viscosity, and gravity, and there is no pressure loss in the shrinkage or protruding parts inside the measuring tube. In addition, the signal detected by the flowmeter element is an average value of the fluid. The flow rate is a voltage that changes linearly, which has nothing to do with other properties of the fluid and has great advantages.

According to the characteristics of sewage with large flow changes, impurities, low corrosiveness, and certain electrical conductivity, it is a good choice to use electromagnetic flowmeters to measure the flow of sewage. It is compact in structure, small in size, easy to install, operate and maintain. For example, the measuring system adopts intelligent design and the overall sealing is strengthened, so that it can work normally in harsh environments. The electromagnetic flowmeter with neoprene lining and molybdenum-containing stainless steel electrode can be selected to meet the requirements of sewage flow measurement.

Due to environmental protection requirements, the flow of sewage and wastewater must be monitored. In the previous design, many flow meters used vortex flowmeters and orifice flowmeters. In practical applications, it is found that the measured flow display value has a large deviation from the actual flow rate, and it is greatly improved after switching to an electromagnetic flowmeter.
