1. Ensure the right installation position:

 

When installing, it should be installed at the upstream straight pipe section where the fluid flow is stable as much as possible. It is required that there is a straight pipe section of 10 times the pipe diameter length upstream and a straight pipe section of 5 times the pipe diameter length downstream to avoid the influence of uneven flow velocity distribution. If there are pumps, valves and other equipment upstream, they should be kept as far away from these equipment as possible to reduce the disturbance to the fluid.

 

2. Correctly install the sensor:

 

The installation position and method of the transducer will affect the transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves, and thus affect the measurement results. The transducer should be comprehensively calculated and installed based on factors such as fluid properties, pipe materials, internal and external pipe diameters and installation methods to reduce the impact of installation errors on the measurement results.

 

3. Reduce noise interference:

 

Noise will interfere with the signal processing of the flow meter and affect the measurement accuracy. Under the premise of fixed installation conditions, the impact of noise can be reduced by improving the signal processing and diagnostic capabilities of the flow meter itself.

 

4. Regular maintenance and calibration:

 

To ensure the accuracy of the ultrasonic flow meter, the equipment needs to be maintained and calibrated regularly. This can help to detect and correct any deviations or errors in a timely manner.
