The electromagnetic flowmeter chooses the power supply mode according to the environment in which it is used. At present, the more commonly used power supply modes are: 220VAC (85VAC-256VAC), 24VDC, 12VDC and battery power supply. The performance of these three power supplies is different in different occasions.
The following four power supply modes are used to explain their respective applications in different occasions.
※220VAC (85VAC-256VAC) electromagnetic flowmeter is currently used in industrial testing. Now the general industrial electricity 220V power supply is more popular. The flowmeter only needs to be installed according to the operating requirements and can be put into use after powering on. 220V electromagnetic flowmeter can be made into an integrated type or a split type; it can be equipped with pulse output, 4-20MA output, Modbus, Hart (optional) as standard, with low purchase and use costs.
※24VDC electromagnetic flowmeter is currently mainly used in industrial sites where AC power is not allowed or low-voltage DC power is used for safety reasons, or when equipped with a flow meter to power the electromagnetic flowmeter, and only 24V power supply can be selected; it can be equipped with pulse output, 4-20MA output, Modbus, Hart (optional) as standard, with low purchase and use costs. ,
※12VDC electromagnetic flowmeter power supply, can be connected to solar battery power supply, suitable for places where there is no power supply near the installation environment, can use solar power supply, can be equipped with pulse output, 4-20MA output, Modbus, Hart (optional), low procurement and use costs.
※ Battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter without any output has low procurement cost, but if Modbus or 4-20MA output is required, the manufacturing cost will be higher than 220VAC or 24VDC power supply. Main use places: 1. Used in the absence of any power supply. 2. Power supply cannot be used under special working conditions, especially chemical enterprises and flammable and explosive enterprises, and power supply is not allowed to generate sparks.
