1. Overview:

In the wastewater treatment industry, mag meters for wastewater are the first choice for measuring the volumetric flow rate of domestic or industrial wastewater. They operate based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, measure unobstructed components within pipes, and can measure all conductive liquids.

2. Selection and Pricing:

The proper selection of  mag meters for wastewater is of paramount importance. It requires careful configuration of the lining and electrode materials-specifically for wastewater applications-as well as the converter specifications, based on the properties of the fluid being measured, pipe diameter, pressure, fluid temperature, power supply method, output functions, and installation environment. Furthermore, these very parameters constitute the key factors that influence the final price.

The following are the most commonly used specifications and price ranges for wastewater measurement applications:

1. Pressure: 1.0 MPa, 1.6 MPa, 2.5 MPa, 4.0 MPa
2. Protection Class: IP65 / IP66 / IP67 / IP68
3. Electrode Material: SS316 / HC, Titanium, Tantalum, Carbide
4. Liner Material: Rubber / PTFE / Polyurethane
5. Power Supply: AC 220V or 24V DC
6. Connection Type: Flange Connection
7. Measuring Tube Material: 304 Stainless Steel
8. Body Material: Carbon Steel
9. Display: LCD (English / Russian)
10. Communication Protocol: RS485; Output Signal: 4–20 mA, Pulse Output
11. Accuracy: ±0.5%

3. The calibration procedure is as follows:

All our flow meters undergo individual calibration prior to leaving the factory, ensuring an accuracy of 0.5%; if calibrated using the gravimetric method, accuracy can reach 0.2%.

● Inspection: For the flowmeter, verify that the sensor's excitation coils and signal cables are connected correctly and that the voltage is stable.

● Sensor: Ensure that the inner surface of the liner is clean and free of liquid residue.

● Parameter Configuration: Set basic parameters on the converter, such as the measurement range and flow units.

● Environmental Initialization: Open the upstream valve to fill the pipe with liquid and purge all air bubbles; then, adjust the downstream valve to establish a stable flow rate.

● Data Acquisition: Within the specified flow range (typically at flow points of 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%), simultaneously record the readings from both the flowmeter under test and the standard reference flowmeter.

● Diagnostic Check: Verify that the resistance values of the excitation coils, electrodes, and insulation fall within the permissible limits, and confirm that the sensor is undamaged.

● Result Analysis and Correction: Calculate Errors: Based on the collected data, calculate the measurement error at each test point.

● Parameter Adjustment: If the error exceeds the permissible tolerance (typically 0.2% or 0.5%), adjust the converter's range scaling factor or zero-point correction parameters.

5. RFQ:

Q1. Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A1: We are a manufacturer. Our factory is located in Kaifeng, China, and has been in operation since 2002. We primarily manufacture and sell a wide range of industrial flow meters and related products. You are welcome to visit us!

Q2. What products and services can you provide?
A2: We offer comprehensive, one-stop services for flow measurement solutions. Our product range includes the sale of various industrial flow meters, industrial ultrasonic water meters, differential pressure transmitters, pressure transmitters, and other instrumentation.

Q3. What are your packaging terms?
A3: Generally, we select the most suitable and secure packaging based on the product's weight and the chosen shipping method. For equipment involving small pipe diameters-which tends to be lighter-especially when shipped via express courier, we utilize carton packaging with internal foam padding. For equipment with large pipe diameters-particularly when shipped via sea freight-we opt for wooden crate packaging.

Q4. What is your delivery lead time?
A4: We maintain a substantial inventory of raw materials and standard-configuration equipment. For standard models (up to 50 units), the estimated time required for production and calibration after order confirmation is 2 business days. For non-standard models, production times vary depending on the specific quantity and specifications; typically, this requires 5 business days. For more specific details, please consult with our sales representatives.

Q5. What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
A5: Our minimum order quantity is 1 unit.

Q6. How do you ensure high product quality?
A6: We have established a comprehensive quality control system. Prior to shipment to our customers, all our products undergo thorough inspection by our IQC (Incoming Quality Control) and OQC (Outgoing Quality Control) departments.
