1.Features:
The vortex steam meter is the preferred instrument for measuring steam. It features temperature and pressure compensation, a maximum temperature resistance of 350°C, and can simultaneously display flow rate, temperature, and pressure. Since steam density changes with temperature, a vortex flowmeter with temperature and pressure compensation can display mass units, such as kilograms and tons, for more accurate measurements. It is the most popular instrument for steam measurement. It has an analog standard signal and digital pulse signal output, RS-485 communication, and can be used in conjunction with a control system. It is a relatively advanced and ideal measuring instrument.
Vortex steam meters come in types:
1. One-piece and two-piece versions.
2. Pipe-connect and plug-in versions.
3. Connection options include threaded, clamp, and flange.
Installation requirements:
※ The installation site should be free from strong vibration and strong magnetic interference. In places with strong vibration, vibration reduction measures should be taken, such as using vibration reduction brackets or vibration-absorbing soft rubber pads.
※ The installation site should ensure easy installation and maintenance.
※ The area around the installation site should not be filled with corrosive gases and should not be flooded.
※ For vortex flowmeters displayed on site, they should not be exposed to direct sunlight and exposure. In this case, necessary shading measures should be taken.
※The flow direction arrow on the vortex flowmeter should be consistent with the flow direction of the fluid in the pipeline.
※ When measuring liquid, it must be ensured that the pipeline is in a full pipe state. When vertical installation is required, the fluid should flow from bottom to top.
(8) The flow control valve should not be installed upstream of the flowmeter, but downstream of the flowmeter.
(9) The upper and lower parts of the vortex flowmeter should be equipped with straight pipe sections of sufficient length according to the site conditions.
