1. The gas turbine flow meter is a new generation of flow meter that integrates flow, temperature, and pressure detection functions, and can automatically compensate for temperature, pressure, and compressibility factor. It is an ideal instrument for gas metering in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, and industrial boilers, as well as for metering in urban natural gas, gas pressure regulating stations, and gas trading. This flow meter features high accuracy, low pressure loss, low starting flow, automatic tracking compensation for temperature, pressure, and flow, battery power, multiple signal outputs, imported bearings for long service life, and convenient installation and maintenance.

2. The gas turbine flow meter is used to measure the flow rate of gas in a pipeline. Its working principle is based on the Karman vortex principle in fluid dynamics:

※Fluid Acceleration: When gas flows into the flow meter's sensor, it first passes through a rectifier, where the gas is accelerated and reaches a uniform flow velocity.

※Turbine Rotation: The accelerated gas flows through turbine blades located inside the housing. Due to the impeller's specific angle design, the airflow acts on the blades, generating a torque that causes the turbine to rotate.

※Magnetic Circuit Changes Generate Signals: Turbine blades are typically ferromagnetic, so their rotation cuts through the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet in the flowmeter. This cutting alters the magnetic reluctance of the magnetic circuit, inducing an electromotive force (EMF) (induced signal) in the coil.

※Signal Amplification and Processing: The induced EMF signal is amplified and shaped by an amplifier to form a stable electrical signal. This signal can be an analog or digital pulse signal.

※Flow Calculation: The amplified electrical signal is sent to a counter or frequency meter. The frequency of the signal is proportional to the gas flow rate through the turbine. Therefore, by measuring the frequency, the gas flow rate can be calculated.

※Output Display: The turbine flowmeter's output signal can be a frequency signal or, through frequency-voltage conversion, can indicate instantaneous flow rate. The impeller rotation speed is proportional to the flow rate, and the number of rotations is proportional to the total flow volume.

Such flowmeters feature high accuracy, good repeatability, a wide measurement range, a simple structure, and few moving parts, making them ideal for precise gas flow measurement in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, and metallurgy.
