1 Maintenance of the flow meter
(1) Regular cleaning. The probe is an important structure of the flowmeter. If the detection hole of the probe is blocked, or entangled or wrapped by other objects, it will affect the normal measurement and cause the result to be inaccurate.
(2) Moisture-proof treatment. Most of the probes have not been treated for moisture-proof. If the environment is relatively humid, or they are not dried after cleaning, the performance of the flowmeter will be affected to a certain extent, resulting in poor operation.
(3) Regular inspections, the use of the flowmeter minimizes external interference, and strictly checks the grounding and shielding conditions of the flowmeter to ensure the accuracy of the flowmeter measurement.
2 Routine maintenance of flowmeter
(1) Prevent the use of the flowmeter daily, protect the inner lining of the flowmeter, reduce the contact of oily substances, and avoid affecting the insulating lining of the flowmeter. At the same time, avoid hard bruises and damage the surface finish.
(2) Avoid vibration. There are very unstable components inside the flowmeter. If strong vibration occurs, it will cause internal deformation or fracture, and at the same time avoid corrosive liquids from flowing into people.
(3) The zero point of differential pressure is cleared every 10 days or so.
3 Verification and calibration of flowmeter
In order to ensure that the flowmeter maintains the accuracy and stability of the measurement, it needs to be verified or calibrated within a period of time (usually one year), and the verification needs to be sent to the measurement verification unit designated by the government. The calibration can be outsourced or operated by yourself. The vortex flowmeter can be calibrated with a higher level of flow standard device. It is necessary to pay attention to whether the standard equipment, calibration procedures and standard accuracy grades used for calibration meet the needs of actual use.
