To use the liquid turbine flowmeter correctly, please pay attention to the following reasons:
1. Ignore the selection and evaluation of the installation environment. The installation environment has strong vibration, large temperature changes, severe electromagnetic interference, or a large number of impurities, bubbles, and particulate matter in the fluid, which will affect the normal operation and measurement accuracy of the flowmeter.
Solution: Before installation, the installation environment should be evaluated in detail to ensure that it is far away from vibration sources and electromagnetic interference sources, and select an area with small and stable temperature changes. For fluids containing impurities, a suitable filter device should be set.
2. Head-down installation. The turbine flowmeter cannot be installed head-down, otherwise it will be affected by gravity and cause inaccurate measurement.
Solution: When installing vertically, the flow direction of the fluid must be from bottom to top to ensure that the liquid fills the pipe and there are no bubbles.
3. Ignore the cleaning and pretreatment of the pipeline. The pipeline is not thoroughly cleaned and pretreated before installation, resulting in impurities such as residues and welding slag in the pipeline entering the flowmeter, which will cause blockage or wear.
Solution: Before installation, the pipeline should be thoroughly cleaned and purged to ensure that the inside of the pipeline is clean and free of impurities.
4. Lack of maintenance and care Long-term neglect of the maintenance and care of the turbine flowmeter will lead to decreased equipment performance and frequent failures.
