The flow meter for measuring sewage must have the following characteristics: simple sensor structure, no throttling device, no blockage, and suitable for measuring various liquids containing solid particles, fibers and suspended solids.
In order to better ensure the stability of the electromagnetic flowmeter when measuring sewage, the following measures can be taken:
1. Choose the appropriate protection level:
According to the site environment and installation conditions, choose an electromagnetic flowmeter with the corresponding protection level (IP65, IP67, IP68). If the pipeline is in a deep well, it is best to choose a split electromagnetic flowmeter, which can better ensure the convenience of statistical flow. The protection level of the sensor is IP68, which can better ensure that if there is water in the deep well, it will not affect the normal operation of the flowmeter.
2. Protect the cable joints:
Due to ground subsidence, humid environment and other reasons, the cable joints may be damp or water ingress. To prevent moisture from invading the cable joints, the cable joints need to be strictly treated with moisture and water.
3. Check the cable condition regularly:
Check the integrity of the cables regularly, and replace damaged or aged cables in time to ensure the stability of signal transmission.
4. Keep the connection between the excitation circuit and the signal line good:
Check the connection between the excitation circuit and the signal line to ensure that the contact resistance is stable and there is no looseness or corrosion. For unstable contact resistance, cleaning and applying vaseline can be used for treatment.
5. Monitor operating parameters:
By real-time monitoring of the operating parameters of the electromagnetic flowmeter, such as measured value, excitation current, etc., abnormal fluctuations are found and checked in time to solve the problem in time.
Through the above measures, the stability of the electromagnetic flowmeter when measuring sewage can be effectively improved, ensuring the accuracy of the measurement results and the safe operation of the equipment.
