SS316 | Applicable to industrial/municipal drinking water, wastewater and low corrosive mediums. |
Hastelloy B | It has good corrosion resistance to all concentrations of hydrochloric acid below the boiling point, and is also resistant to oxidizing acids, alkalis, and non-oxidizing salt solutions such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and organic acids. |
Hastelloy C | It is resistant to oxidizing acids, such as nitric acid, mixed acids, and also resistant to oxidizing salts. If the hypochlorite solution is higher than normal temperature, seawater will corrode. |
Titanium | It can withstand the corrosion of sea water, various chlorides and hypochlorites, oxidizing acids, organic acids, and alkalis, but is not resistant to the corrosion of relatively pure reducing acids. However, if the acid contains an oxidizing agent, the corrosion is greatly reduced. |
Tantalum | It has excellent corrosion resistance and is very similar to glass. Except for hydrofluoric acid, fuming sulfuric acid and alkali, it is resistant to corrosion by almost all chemical media |
