Non-full Tube Electromagnetic Flowmeter

The non-full pipe flow meter is an automatic flow measuring instrument that uses the flow area method to continuously measure the flow of fluids in open channel pipes (such as half-pipe sewage pipes, and large flow pipes without overflow weirs). It can measure and display instantaneous flow, flow, cumulative flow, and other data.

1. Features:

When measuring the flow rate of liquid that cannot fill the pipe, you need to use the Non-full tube electromagnetic flowmeter, which is the only special instrument for measuring the flow of liquid that cannot fill the pipe. It relies on electrodes to measure the liquid flow rate, and the liquid level sensor measures the liquid level of the medium in the pipe and then transmits the signal to the converter, and the display device calculates the cumulative flow and instantaneous flow of the medium in the pipe. It has the characteristics of high accuracy, no damping elements in the measuring tube, easy installation, and long service life. This flowmeter is particularly suitable for the measurement needs of municipal rainwater, wastewater, sewage discharge, and irrigation water pipelines.

3. Installation and Maintenance:

The installation requirements of a non-full-tube electromagnetic flowmeter are the same as those of a normal electromagnetic flowmeter.

★ The installation site and position are determined as needed, but the electrode axis must be horizontal.

★ The electromagnetic flowmeter must be well grounded to reduce the introduction of interference signals. There are two requirements for grounding: one is that the grounding wire of the sensor and the converter must be conductive with the measured medium, and the other is that the earth must be used as the zero potential.

★ To avoid interference signals, the signal line between the sensor and the converter must use a special shielded wire and be separately inserted into the grounded steel pipe. The signal cable and the power cable cannot be placed in the same steel pipe.

★When the flowmeter is installed underground, an instrument well needs to be set up.

★ The unstable flow of the medium does not affect the measured value, so there are no special requirements for the front and rear straight pipe sections when installing the flowmeter.

The maintenance workload of a non-full-tube electromagnetic flowmeter is very small, but after a period of operation, sewage often accumulates an adhesion layer on the inner wall of the sensor, which should be removed in time. Otherwise, when the conductivity of the adhesion layer is inconsistent with the conductivity of the fluid, it will cause the electrode circuit to be broken or short-circuited, and the meter will not work properly. Therefore, for the measurement of industrial wastewater, it is best to ensure that the fluid flow rate is above 3-4m/s when selecting the flow meter. This can, to a certain extent, play a role in self-cleaning the pipeline and preventing the deposition of the adhesion layer.

4. FAQ:

1. Q: In what field situations is a non-full-pipe electromagnetic flowmeter used?

A: First of all, the minimum pipe diameter measured by this instrument is DN100 (4"), when the conductive liquid flows in the pipe, the liquid cannot fill the pipe. This type of flowmeter can measure the instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, etc. of the medium.

2. Q: What is the accuracy?

A: The accuracy can reach 2%.

3. Q: Can it be connected to a control system? What are the output methods?

A: Of course, its output methods include: Modbus, 4-20MA, Hart (customized), etc.

4. Q: What is the minimum order quantity?

A: Our minimum order quantity is 1PCS.
