3. Main Components of Magnetic Flow Meter:
★Electromagnetic Coils: These coils surround the stainless steel flow measuring tube and generate a magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of liquid flow. The strength and stability of this magnetic field are key to the accuracy of flow measurement.
★Electrodes: These are placed opposite each other on the flow tube and detect the voltage generated when the fluid passes through the magnetic field. They are designed to be sensitive to small changes in voltage, ensuring accurate flow detection. Electrodes are divided into positive, negative,, and ground electrodes.
★Measuring Tube: The measuring tube is usually made of non-ferrous metal and is the pipe through which the measuring fluid flows. The lining material of the flow tube should be compatible with the measuring fluid to prevent any chemical reaction or contamination.
★Converter: The converter of the Electromagnetic flow meter sensor processes the voltage signal from the electrodes, calculates the flow rate, and converts it into a readable output. Advanced transmitters also provide other functions such as data logging, communication with the control system, and diagnostic functions.
